When we changed our name from The Center for Women and Families of Eastern Fairfield County to The Center for Family Justice, we knew we needed a new website.
With today’s launch of www.CenterForFamilyJustice.org, we are better able to meet our community needs. Our new website clearly communicates our mission: that we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of abuse and violence — domestic, sexual and child — by providing services that create hope, restore lives and drive social change through education and community collaboration.
The new website provides quick and intuitive navigation, creating a user-friendly environment for those impacted by domestic or sexual violence to get the information and immediate help they need to become survivors.
And more….
In addition to information about the issues surrounding domestic and sexual violence, we have included:
- Easy access to all our events;
- A separate section for donors about the ways they can help make a difference;
- Information about our community prevention and training sessions;
- A FAQ section answering questions and dispelling myths about domestic and sexual violence.
I cannot express how thrilled and excited I am with this launch. It has been a work in progress for a long time!
Please check back often, as we will always be adding events and information. And between now and fall 2015, when our community partners – police, prosecutors, legal, community-based advocates, social services groups – begin working from our headquarters at 753 Fairfield Ave., Bridgeport, we will be adding to our list of partners, spelling out the services they provide.
I invite you to take some time to look around our new website, and then let us know what you think.
