Prevention & Education

CFJ provides primary and secondary prevention education and training to students K-12, college students, the general public and professionals. All presentations and trainings are tailored to specific audiences. Our Community Education & Prevention department works toward social change by promoting respectful, non-violent and healthy friendships, relationships, families and communities.

Grades K-5

Prevention education focuses on increasing knowledge, developing leadership skills, and mobilizing bystander with young children related to:

Grades 6-12

General Public/Professionals

Education and training focuses on increasing knowledge about the dynamics of domestic violence, sexual violence, and child abuse. Trainings focus on trauma informed responses to victims and survivors as well as information about community resources related to:
