Certification Training
CFJ offers a 40+ hour state mandated training to become a certified domestic and sexual violence advocate/counselor. For participants interested in volunteer opportunities at CFJ, this training is the first step in working directly with survivors. This training is also open to community providers who would like a comprehensive training in the field of domestic violence, sexual violence and child abuse. Upon completion, community providers will receive a certificate of completion.
Typically, this training is offered three times a year in September, June, and January. Our next training is scheduled for June 2022.
Please contact Amanda Posila at the email listed on this page to learn more.
