The Center for Family Justice was pleased to recently receive the National Children’s Alliance 2017 Innovative Program/Practice Award. This prestigious honor was given to CFJ’s President & CEO Debra A. Greenwood at the NCA’s annual Leadership Conference, held in Washington, D.C. in June.
The award was based on CFJ’s recent launch of Camp HOPE Connecticut, the first trauma-informed camp and mentoring program for children ages five to thirteen in New England
This award was presented to CFJ by the NCA Executive Director, Teresa Huizar, who expressed the organization’s sincere appreciation for “your tireless work in support of our Children’s Advocacy Centers and your ongoing effort in the battle against child abuse.”
