Participants will have an interactive discussion about the recent media attention on sexual harassment and why it is critical that we, as a community, change the conversation and culture. This workshop will focus on the dynamics of sexual harassment, legal responsibilities and steps to file a sexual harassment complaint with employers, educational institutions as well as state and federal agencies. In addition, participants will also learn strategies to prevent sexual harassment including how bystanders can effectively intervene in the workplace, academic settings, and in our community.
