About the Training:
The American Bar Association Survivor Reentry Project offers this free training to attorneys. This training will explore the impact of criminal records on trafficking survivors’ ability to move forward in their lives. Facilitators will take participants through Connecticut’s law on vacating convictions for survivors, the legal steps required to vacate a conviction, and resources for obtaining criminal histories. The training will also familiarize participants with the Survivor Reentry Project’s resources and connect participants to a national network of attorneys working on criminal history advocacy for survivors.
