The Center for Family Justice is pleased to announce that its Camp HOPE America-Connecticut program is the beneficiary of the 2019 Fairfield Christmas Tree Festival.
Camp HOPE is a trauma-informed summer camp and year-long mentoring program for youth ages 17 and under who have been impacted by abuse. It is the first program of its kind in New England, providing a clinically-proven therapeutic curriculum in a traditional summer camp environment to children and teens who are primary or secondary victims of domestic and sexual abuse.
Since its inception three years ago, CFJ has been able to provide this camping experience to more than 150 deserving children and teens.
Please join us and the organizers of the festival on Dec. 6, Dec. 7 and Dec. 8 at the historic Burr Homestead in Fairfield to experience gorgeous designer decorated rooms, a holiday gift boutique, photos with Santa and opportunities to shop for stunning trees, wreaths and garlands to make your season bright.
This year’s FCTF Special Events include:
Camp Hip Hop on Friday, Dec 6 from 5 to 7 p.m.: This family fun event features a hip dance party lead by the team from Double Up Dance Studio, dinner, dancing and a visit from Santa, followed by a candlelit stroll to the town of Fairfield’s Annual Tree Lighting at the town green.
